Alexandros Vakoulas

Alexandros is a PhD candidate in History of Technology at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Sciences, History and Philosophy of Science Department. The working title of his thesis is “Technology, Science and Diet: Governance, Expertise and Industry in Greece from World War 2 to today”. He holds an MSc and a BSc in History and Philosophy of Science, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in History of Technology and the Social Studies of Science and Technology. His research focus is on historically informed policy, networks of expertise and approaches to governance of science and technology. He has working experience in journalism and communication. When there is some free time, he enjoys photography and films.
